INSTRUCTION FOR AUTHORS
Authors from the Republic of Croatia are required to write abstracts in both Croatian and English, while authors from outside the Republic of Croatia write abstracts in English only. Abstracts should be prepared according to the abstract template and submitted via the abstract submission form. The abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts.
Duration of oral presentations:
Oral presentation of abstracts: 10 minutes
Plenary lecture: 20 minutes
Project presentation: 10 minutes
The presented abstracts may be published as full papers in several scientific journals.
Biotechnical sciences:
- MDPI Horticulturae Special Issue. The journal Horticulturae is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal published monthly. According to the Journal Citation Reports (JCR), the journal has an Impact Factor of 3.1, placing it in the first quartile (Q1) in the horticulture category. It is indexed in several renowned databases, including Scopus, Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) within Web of Science, PubAg, AGRIS, and FSTA.
Submission deadline: possible to submit for publication throughout the entire year 2025.
- The Journal of Central European Agriculture (JCEA) Journal of Central European Agriculture (JCEA) is a peer-reviewed multilingual international scientific journal in agriculture indexed. According to 2023 data, the journal has an Impact Factor of 0.7, placing it in the third quartile (Q3) in the Agriculture, Dairy & Animal Science category. Indexed and abstracted in Web of Science Core Collection – Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Scopus, Zoological Record, CAB Abstracts, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), EBSCO, Agricola, Portal of Scientific Journals of Croatia (HRČAK), ICI Journals Master List. Submission deadline: June 30, 2025
- Agronomski glasnik of the Croatian Society of Agronomists is the oldest Croatian scientific and professional agricultural journal, continuously published since 1930 as the official publication of the Croatian Society of Agronomists. The journal belongs to the A2 category and is indexed in international databases such as CAB International, BIOSIS Previews, AGRICOLA, Food Science & Technology Abstracts, AGRIS, and EBSCO Publishing. Submission deadline: possible to submit for publication throughout the entire year 2025
Each paper in the field of biotechnical sciences will be considered for publication in the journal of your choice and will be subject to the journal’s peer review process. Papers should be prepared according to the journal’s guidelines, which can be found at the following link:
