Scientific Tradition and Vision for the Future
Over its 150 years of existence, the Institute of Agriculture and Tourism has grown into one of Croatia’s most important research institutions. This anniversary is not only a reminder of the Institute’s historical contributions but also an opportunity to focus on the future – on innovations that will improve food production, protect the environment, and ensure the sustainability of Croatia’s economy. Agriculture and tourism form the backbone of Croatia’s economy, yet while tourism continues to experience steady growth, agriculture faces challenges that demand innovative solutions.

Scientific Conference
This significant 150th anniversary will be marked by a special scientific conference titled “From Science to Inovation for Sustainable Development of Agriculture and Tourism,” to be held on May 8, 2025, at the Diamant Hotel in Poreč. The conference will provide a platform for exchanging ideas and establishing strategic guidelines to foster sustainability in both sectors. As the central event of the celebration, this conference lays the groundwork for the future work and contributions of the Institute and invites all stakeholders to join in the shared mission of creating a sustainable and prosperous Croatia.

- Notification of Abstract Acceptance – March 31, 2025
- Fee Payment – April 15, 2025
- Submission of Final Papers –
All participants who wish to attend the Scientific Conference, regardless of whether they are registering as co-authors of an abstract or as part of a project presentation, must register through the online form.
Presented abstracts may be published as full papers in one of the scientific journals, which will be detailed further in the second call for the Conference.
The registration fee includes participation in the Conference, refreshments during breaks, and a group lunch for participants. One registration fee covers participation with one abstract at the Conference

Doctoral and postdoctoral students (upon submission of status confirmation): € 0.00
